Agri Con GmbH - Precision Farming Company

To Agritechnica: Agri Con will present innovation for precision farming | 08.10.2009

To Agritechnica Agri Con will present solutions for precision farming data management, precision drilling of seed by precision farming box and controlling of precision farming technology by using ISOBUS standard.

At the moment technological solutions of precision farming take a big jump forward in quality. In the past precision farming was an instrument of pioneers. Today precision farming changes organisation and processes very strong. The demand is raising in all sectors since a few months.

To Agritechnica Agri Con will present the new generation of precision farming systems and many innovations, which will be shown at Agritechnica for the first time at a exhibition.

The first example: In future farmers can use agronomic terminal and its software Precision Farming Box (PF-Box) for precision drilling of seed. Altogether with Väderstad - a manufacturer of agricultural technology - Agri Con developed the software tool. Farmers only have to upload a seed map into the agronomic terminal to work off their drilling.

The second example: the overlapping management. Fertilised fields will be compared with the actual position of the spreader. So a double fertilising by mistake can be avoid.

Agri Con also react to the needed standards of an interaction of agricultural technology during the application without problems. Altogether with WTK electronics Agri Con made the N-sensor software - the software of agronomic terminal - fit for ISOBUS standard.

The third example: Agri Con's solution for a better precision farming data management will be the top innovation of Agri Con at Agritechnica. To save and manage data is one important initial step to be made before starting with precision farming. With data portal a GIS is available as a Rich Internet Application for the first time. Data management costs - now nearly 20,000 € every year - are reduced to less than 2,000 €. Thus precision farming will become more attractive for smaller farms.
