The tool for optimal plant nutrition

The YARA N-Sensor® is an ideal tool for intelligent, variable-rate nitrogen fertilisation. There are about 900 YARA N-Sensors in use throughout the world, and of these more than 470 systems are in use in Germany. Currently between 300,000 and 500,000 ha of arable land are being fertilised with the help of the YARA N-Sensor in Germany.

In combination with the service software, Precision Farming Box, the YARA N-Sensor® is the platform for further solutions in sub-area specific plant production. Thus, growth regulators and herbicides for killing-off leaves have already been able to be sprayed variably according to agronomic criteria.

That one can rely on the YARA N-Sensor® is shown by almost 250 trials, which have, up to now, been carried out on small parcels as well as on larger areas. In addition, 12 years after its introduction to the market, the effects of N fertilisation with the YARA N-Sensor® are still being checked and documented in each fertilising season.
