From now and free of charge: The soil scanner maps in agriPORT

Being an Agricon customer pays off.

Since 2002 we have been using the soil scanner to map the heterogeneity of your soils.

Since the beginning, the maps have been delivered in paper form. Two years ago, we promised you that we would also make all measurements collected so far available to you, the customer, in digital form. At the beginning of this year 2021, we have uploaded the soil scanner data free of charge in digital form to our agriPORT for over 1,600 customers in Germany, as well as in large parts of Eastern Europe. That is over 598,000 hectares on 28,000 plots with a total of 134 million measurement points, from the last 19 years. Every customer has been notified in recent weeks and can now access this data. With the free upload of the soil scanner maps we present a unique service, which is unparalleled on the market.

The soil scanner maps

The results of the soil scanner measurements are detailed soil zone maps. At a glance, you can recognize good and less good sub-areas. They serve as a basis for decision-making for optimized soil sampling.

For the greatest possible precision, the sampling grid is precisely adapted to the soil differences. As a result, nutrient distribution maps of higher quality can be produced than with the rigid grid.

Further use

The farm soil maps are not only used to subdivide your land into sampling zones and for site-specific fertilizer planning, but are also used as a data basis for:

the differentiated sowing,
for soil cultivation,
crop analysis
and in case of a pending land exchange or purchase.

Data backup

We manage and process all data of our customers on a fiduciary basis. This means that the data belongs exclusively to our customers. We use state-of-the-art security systems to ensure that your data is protected.
