Winter cereals are currently suffering to a greater or lesser extent from the early summer drought - for the third year in succession. Perhaps now is the right time to analyse the criteria and causes that contribute to the stagnation of plant growth under dry conditions. We will show how to condition the stands to future dry periods by using old-established methods and precision farming, as this is the only way to condition the stands to future dry periods.
